Abstract

As the power grid evolves with the integration of renewable energy sources and advanced communication technologies, Transactive Energy Systems (TES) emerge as a vital solution for managing the en- ergy transition. This paper examines the key components, technologies, and market mechanisms driving TES implementation, focusing on dis- tributed energy resources, smart grid advancements, and secure energy transactions. We also discuss the role of regulatory frameworks and poli- cies, highlighting successful TES deployments and their benefits. Lastly, we explore future trends, challenges, and opportunities in scaling TES, aiming to foster a sustainable and robust energy future. (As shown in Fig. 4)
